All About the Bold Venture Network:

How did this ministry begin?

The Bold Venture Network is an organic gathering of like-minded leaders and churches committed to global spiritual revival, multicultural missions and Christ-centered discipleship. It is currently directed by Lee Grady and his Bold Venture Ministries team. If you feel the Lord might be leading you to join our network, please read the document on our website that outlines our core values. Also, please consider these frequently asked questions:

How did this ministry begin?

In the year 2000, Lee Grady was ordained into ministry by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He began his traveling ministry that year, and he connected with numerous churches and ministries from various denominations and church networks. Lee also began The Mordecai Project, a missionary organization designed to help marginalized women and girls overseas. He also started hosting annual discipleship conferences under the banner of Bold Venture. As Lee’s relationships became stronger, he decided it was necessary to create a network of churches and leaders to provide encouragement, training, resources and personal mentoring for ministers who needed stronger support. The Bold Venture Network was officially launched in 2026.

What are the benefits for a minister or church to join the Bold Venture Network?

We believe God connects His people to do His work. The BV Network provides support, encouragement, helpful training and counsel to individuals and churches so that we can all achieve our full potential as ministers of the gospel. We offer personal coaching, leadership training, retreats, conferences and individual counseling to members. We also connect leaders to other leaders so that we can all grow in our callings and so that we can reach more people for Jesus Christ.

Does the Bold Venture Network ordain people into the ministry?

Yes, we facilitate ordination for qualified candidates—to serve as licensed or ordained ministers. Candidates must demonstrate Christian character according to 1 Timothy 3:1-13, they must exhibit evidence of the Holy Spirit’s anointing for ministry and they must sign a statement showing that they agree with solid biblical doctrine according to our statement of faith.

What are the requirements to be a member of the Bold Venture Network?

Members of this network must be:

  • Bible-believing Christians who feel called to serve Jesus Christ in gospel
    ministry;
  • Members in good standing with a local church;
  • Willing to use their talents and spiritual gifts to serve the wider body of Christ.

Members will be required to submit a reference statement from a pastor or other ordained minister who can attest to the applicant’s character and ministry calling.

Is a membership fee required to join the Bold Venture Network?

No, the Bold Venture Network does not require members to pay membership fees, or to tithe to the organization. However, all applicants must go through an interview process, and the Network board will then approve memberships.
We believe the Apostle Paul set a wise standard when he told the Corinthians: “I will not be a burden to you …Children should not have to save up for their parents, but parents for their children” (2 Cor. 12:14). We believe apostolic leaders, or spiritual fathers, should not burden the church for their support; instead, they should freely invest in those people they are overseeing. This ministry is supported by freewill donations. Members are welcome to support the network financially on a voluntary basis. There may be times when the leaders of the Bold Venture Network will take up freewill offerings for various needs including missionary outreaches, local church projects or financial emergencies.

Who is Lee Grady accountable to?

Lee Grady and his wife, Deborah, incorporated Bold Venture Ministries as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2016, and this organization functions with a board of directors that is comprised of Rev. Matt Judd, Rev. Luis Roig, Rev. Deanna Mueller, Rev. Eddie Taylor, Rev. Beth Taylor, Rev. Paul Muzichuk, Mr. Chris Revells, Rev. Denise Gedda, and Lee’s wife, Deborah Grady—who serves as financial director for the ministry.

Lee is fully accountable to this board for ministry-related decisions. In addition, Lee has been ordained with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC), since 2000. In 2025, this organization authorized and blessed Lee’s decision to begin the Bold Venture Network. Members of the Bold Venture Network do not have to come under the covering of the IPHC when they join Bold Venture, but the IPHC provides an additional
level of accountability for Lee if this is ever necessary.
